Don't panic. We get to the majority of breakdowns in under 60 minutes.
Firstly, let's make sure you're safe
If you've broken down, please make sure you're in a safe place, and as far left off the road as you can be. Stay well away from moving traffic. Put your hazard warning lights on and leave your vehicle using the nearside doors. If you are on the motorway, move over to the hard shoulder (if you can) and follow the above guidelines.
If you break down in an outside lane, please stay in the vehicle and call the emergency services, as well as your break down provider.
Report your breakdown in the UK
If you've broken down and hold an AXA vehicle breakdown policy, you can use our online claim registration tool e-Rescue, or contact us on 0345 504 6391 and recovery will be sent to you as quickly as possible.
